Currently, Lenovo equips its new 14-inch 2-in-1 with 16 GB or 32 GB LPDDR5X-9523 RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB of M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 storage and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Two display options are available, too. While both are 1200p and 60 Hz touchscreen panels, Lenovo’s OLED configuration peaks at 600 nits peak brightness (HDR) with 100% DCI-P3 colour space coverage. By contrast, its IPS option drops to 45% NTSC colour space coverage and 400 nits peak brightness.
The IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14Q8Y11 starts at £1,110 in the UK and €1,159 – €1,350 in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, the same laptop costs AUD 2,199 in Australia. Although all countries have received 16 GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and an IPS display as their starting configurations, Lenovo includes a Linear Pen for free in Australia, which it sells separately elsewhere.
