Third Period: Sabres tie it
The non-call on the Dobes hit gave Buffalo more momentum. Rasmus Dahlin continued his monster series with the game-tying goal at 6:27 of the period. Tied 2-2
The Canadiens successfully killed a high-sticking penalty by Phillip Danault early in the period. Then Jakub Dobes was run by the Sabres after making a save. He plead his case for a penalty but didn’t get it.
Second Period: All Sabres
Jakub Dobes was doing everything to weather the Sabres storm in the second, including diving over his teammates to grab the loose puck.
The Sabres finally solved Jakub Dobes. Mattias Samuelsson beat the Habs goalie through traffic to cut the Montreal lead. 2-1 Canadiens
Josh Anderson went into the post hard after slipping up on a breakaway.

Phillip Danault reversed the trend of the Sabres scoring first by beating Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen to give the Habs the lead at 4:30. 1-0 Canadiens
