The 2027 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class was announced on Tuesday, with Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Larry Phillips chosen to be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in January 2027.
Harvick and Burton were chosen from the modern-era ballot, with the late Phillips being nominated from the pioneer-era ballot.
Harvick, who infamously stepped into the Cup Series with Richard Childress Racing in 2001 following the death of Dale Earnhardt, won 60 NASCAR Cup Series races and 47 NASCAR O’Reilly Series races. He won two O’Reilly Series titles and the Cup championship in 2014. He retired from full-time competition at the end of 2023. Harvick now works as an analyst for NASCAR on Fox.
Burton, who now works as an analyst for NASCAR on NBC, won 21 Cup races, including crown jewels in the Southern 500 and Coca-Cola 600. He retired from full-time Cup competition in 2013. He also won 27 O’Reilly Series races in only 306 starts.
