INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark was ruled out of Wednesday’s home game against the Portland Fire due to a back injury, the Fever announced. It is Clark’s first missed game of the season. The two-time All-Star was not on the Fever’s injury report Tuesday.

Last season, Clark was limited to just 13 games due to various injuries. This season, she averaged 24.3 points, nine assists and five rebounds in her first four games. She left the season-opening loss to receive treatment before returning to the action, and she has said that her back “gets out of line.”
