One women is in life-threatening condition and another has been injured after they were struck by a school bus north of Brampton on Thursday.
The OPP says the incident happened on Thursday morning in the area of King Street East in the Bolton area of Caledon. Two pedestrians were struck, and the victims were both adult females, a spokesperson with Peel Regional Paramedic Services confirmed.
One of the victims was rushed to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition, while the other victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.
No occupants of the school bus were injured.
Police closed King Street East between John Street and James Street while emergency crews are on the scene, but the roadway has since reopened.
