Skies are expected to be mostly clear on Friday with strong winds up to 50 km/h in parts of the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says Friday morning will be sunny in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oshawa and the Niagara Falls area, while Hamilton could see cloudy skies and periods of rain.
An east wind will be blowing around 30 km/h with gusts up to 50 km/h in Mississauga.
The daytime high will be around 16 C in Mississauga with a UV index of 8 or “very high,” the weather agency says.
Friday night could see more 50 km/h wind gusts across the GTA and an overnight love of around 11 C.
Looking ahead to the weekend weather, Saturday is expected to bring showers and a high of 10 C to Mississauga. Sunday’s high could reach 20 C, with a 40 per cent chance of showers.
