All collector lanes of Highway 401 are shut down between Winston Churchill Blvd. and Mavis Rd. due to a police investigation.
An investigation is underway after a shooting on Highway 401 in Mississauga overnight.
All collector lanes of the highway were shut down for several hours between Winston Churchill Boulevard and Mavis Road for the shooting, which occurred at around 12:15 a.m. The highway reopened at around 7 a.m.

Peel police told CP24 that the victim pulled off the highway and contacted police.
Ontario Provincial Police have taken over the investigation and no information has been provided on the extent of the victim’s injuries.
