The season’s second major has arrived and Dominic Thiem has a few names firmly on his radar for ATP Fantasy selections.

At the top of that list is Jannik Sinner. The Italian recently completed the Career Golden Masters in Rome and is now chasing a Career Grand Slam.

“The last weeks and months of Jannik have been amazing,” Thiem said. “To complete the Career Masters at such a young age is incredible and an unbelievable achievement. That’s why I think everybody has to get him on their team, as he is also a high favourite for the title. I would recommend to everybody to put him on the team.”

Thiem has made a new addition to his ATP Fantasy squad, selecting a player who, like himself, has twice reached the final in Paris.

“I put Casper Ruud in my team now because he’s playing in Geneva. He’s in very good form recently, reached the final in Rome,” said Thiem. “Now he’s playing well in Geneva.”

The former No. 3 in the PIF ATP Rankings believes tennis fans will see big things from a #NextGenATP star who is seeded in his first appearance at the clay-court major.

“In the clay-court season, I’m most impressed by Rafa Jodar,” said Thiem. “He started the clay-court season with a title and then confirmed that great form in Madrid and Rome, and in Barcelona as well. He’s an unbelievable hot take. I’m very confident that he will have a great journey [in Paris] as well.”

What other moves would Thiem advise?

“I still have to check my budget, but one of Novak [Djokovic] or Sascha [Zverev], I would also put,” Thiem added. “Then I think I would have a very solid lineup.”
