Winnipeg police say a 50-year-old woman is in hospital after being hit by a vehicle Thursday evening.
WPS responded to a report of a collision between a 2024 Mazda CX-50 and a pedestrian at the intersection of Main Street and Mountain Avenue, just before 5 p.m.
The driver of the Mazda remained at the scene and spoke to police, and the 50-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital in unstable condition with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the matter and are asking if anyone has any information, to contact investigators at 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
