Winnipeg’s city-owned Windsor Park Golf Course is marking its centennial anniversary this year.
The golf course originally opened in 1922 as a nine-hole, private club. Two years later, it was purchased by the city and expanded to 18 holes.
CTV News reports that 33,000 rounds were played at Windsor Park in 2024. The Seine River comes into play in eight of the golf course’s 18 holes.
To commemorate Windsor Park’s 100 years as a municipal golf course, green fees were reduced to $19.25 for a limited period.
