Laredo’s first Olympian earned her second international gold medal with USA Boxing on Monday in Girardot, Colombia, completing a 7-0 run through the 2026 Copa America.
Lozano finished 7-0 across the nine-day round-robin tournament, going undefeated in the 50-kilogram division. She fought six times through the first seven days. On the final day of the tournament, she won by walkover as Guatemala’s Dulce Diaz conceded the fight.
This is Lozano’s first medal since taking third place at the World Boxing Cup in Brazil in April 2025. She was one of 13 boxers competing for Team USA, including eight men and five women.
