Google has announced a partnership with U.S. Soccer as an official partner of both the U.S. Men’s and Women’s National Teams. The partnership will use Google Search and AI features to help fans find information about matches, players, and the sport.

“We’re focused on building fandom and creating deeper connections between our teams and fans, not just around major moments like World Cups, but for the long-term future of soccer in this country,” says Dan Gaiman, Senior Vice President of Partnership Development and Strategy, U.S. Soccer. “Google is a partner that understands how people discover, experience and engage with the sports and passions they care about. Together, we have an opportunity to reach new audiences, strengthen the connection with existing fans, and help grow the game in meaningful ways for years to come.”

“The energy around U.S. Soccer right now is absolutely electric. The more you watch, the more questions you have about the players, the history, and the tactics,” says Kate Johnson, Director of Global Sports and Entertainment Marketing Partnerships, Google. “Through our partnership with U.S. Soccer, we’re showing how AI in Google Search makes it easier than ever to follow those questions, dive deeper into the sport, and fuel that love for the game.”

The partnership launches May 26 with Google serving as presenting sponsor of the U.S. Soccer 2026 Men’s National Team Roster Reveal, which will include a live hour-long broadcast on FOX from 3:00–4:00 p.m. ET and a free public fan celebration in New York City.

A Google Search campaign featuring current players and alumni including Weston McKennie, Tyler Adams, Landon Donovan, and Tim Howard will launch in June across broadcast, digital, and social channels. The athletes will also appear in a U.S. Soccer social series presented by Google.

During the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026, a Gemini-powered photo booth using Google’s Nano Banana image generation technology will be available at the U.S. Soccer House presented by Bank of America in Venice, California.

Google also partners with the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany, Iraq, and Morocco as part of its global soccer partnerships.
