Today, indie rock outfit feeble little horse have surprise-released their third studio album bitknot via Saddle Creek. You can listen to it now on the platform of your choice. 

Written, arranged, produced and recorded by the band across their respective homes in Pittsburgh, PA, bitknot explores the “tension between human connection and the isolating effects of capitalism, technology and modern consumer culture.” 

“The album art is based on the coincidental core memory matrix, which was used in old computers to store memory/access information using Os and 1s,” the band explained in a release. “Each core, or ‘bit,’ is accessed through the grid of wires, like a knot that stores secret details and memories.”

feeble little horse will be galloping their way across North America, Europe and the UK later on this year in support of the new record. 

The tour will officially begin in Richmond, VA, in July, and they’ll eventually make their way up to Canada for shows at Toronto’s Concert Hall (October 11) and Montreal’s Theatre Fairmount (October 12) this fall.

Presales will begin this Thursday (May 28), with a general sale following on Friday (May 29).
