Yuk Yuk’s Surrey set for ‘exciting’ lineup of shows this June

Yuk Yuk’s promises big laughs this month in Surrey.
Located within Elements Casino in Cloverdale, Yuk Yuk’s Surrey has more than half a dozen comics lined up for June.
Eric Y. Lapointe said show-goers can expect “a really exciting month” with several comics hitting the Cloverdale venue on Fridays and Saturdays. Lapointe is the CEO of Icarus Capital, the organization that owns Yuk Yuk’s Surrey.
Headliner Sterling Scott kicks things off on June 5-6.
“(He’s) a comic based out of Edmonton who has had some massive success as of late,” Lapointe told the Cloverdale Reporter. “This includes getting the golden buzzer at Canada’s Got Talent in 2024. This show is not to be missed.”
Scott’s been featured on Roast Battle Canada, CBC Debaters, Just For Laughs in Montreal and more.
The following weekend, June 12-13, Brett Martin, a Yuk Yuk’s signed talent, will hit the stage.
“He tours nationally, has been seen on CTV, and is also our Yuk’s University professor.”
On Father’s Day weekend (June 19-20), Yuk Yuk’s will host “Dad’s Night Out.” It’s a cross-venue event with dates in Cloverdale on both the Friday and Saturday night and a show at the Fort Pub & Grill on Saturday. The Cloverdale stage will feature Johnny Perrotta “everyone’s favourite Italian father.” Perrotta will headline both shows.
On the last weekend of June (26, 27), Damonde Tshcritter will return to the stage.
“He’s one of Canada’s best comics who has been featured on the Snowed In Comedy Tour, CTV, HBO, Just For Laughs, and way more,” noted Lapointe, adding Tshcritter was “legendary.”
Lapointe said they are switching over to their summer hours, which means shows will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.
