There’s a lot to be said about pothole season, and we’ve said it all — I mean, we’re a city with a pothole vigilante.
Just when we’re about to cry asphalt tears, along comes Laurence Petit, La Fée des Trottoirs. Check out her gorgeous mosaics, which make art out of sidewalk cracks, in this story by our very own Bill Brownstein.
Sidewalk cracks often happen when there are temperature shifts, and Petit is making a case for wanting some wild fluctuations. Anyway, this is what we’re going to get:
