Pedestrian crash in Surrey sends one to hospital

A pedestrian was transported to the hospital Thursday morning (May 28) after being struck by a vehicle, police said.
Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton said the person was “conscious and breathing,” but he could not comment on their injuries.
The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. at 144 Street and 60 Avenue.
