Ottawa firefighters had to call for backup and lean on water trucks to fight a house fire in Manotick for a few hours Thursday evening.
They said in an email they were called to Bravar Drive in the south Ottawa community around 5:50 p.m.
The 911 caller said a fire outside had spread to the deck of a house. Once firefighters got there, they said the house was fully on fire.
