Damages are being assessed at the District of Saanich, B.C.’s Cedar Hill Golf Course where a stolen pickup truck pursued by police on Wednesday was abandoned on the course and set on fire.
CHEK News reports the stolen vehicle was spotted by police in the golf course’s parking lot, but then drove onto the course and set on fire on a fairway.
As police attempted to stop the driver of the vehicle, the truck hit two police cruisers. Police didn’t pursue the driver onto the course but contained the area, later making an arrest.
