Edmonton’s residential parking ban for spring street sweeping ends Friday night at 7 p.m.
The City of Edmonton says sweeping on major roadways is expected to be completed this weekend, while cleaning of the alleyways will continue through the summer.
The annual street clean-up began on April 8 this year.
The City said its crews cleaned debris and dust over 12,500 kilometres of residential streets, bike lanes and pathways amid challenges due to above-average snowfall and late-season weather events.
Residents can report significant debris by calling 311.
