A man in his 20s has died after a shooting in North York on Friday night, police said.
Officers responded to calls of a man shot near Sheppard Avenue W. and Magellan Drive around 10: 15 p.m., Toronto police said on social media.
They found a man with gunshot wounds and he was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.
Police say they aren’t sure if one or multiple suspects were involved, but a dark-coloured vehicle was seen fleeing the scene.
Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators, they said. Police are expected to share more details on the incident sometime on Saturday.
