This is exactly the kind of information that can explain a lot of things!

“According to what I’m hearing, the Canadiens’ injury report is expected to be very significant.

Suzuki reportedly has a torn thigh muscle.

Slafkovsky is reportedly dealing with two major injuries: a shoulder and a leg injury.

Dobson reportedly cannot fully close his hand.

Hutson is reportedly playing with a damaged shoulder.”

Nick Suzuki, Juraj Slafkovsky, Noah Dobson, and Lane Hutson were all playing through significant injuries

That certainly changes the perception of the Canadiens’ performance during the final games of the series, or at the very least, it puts things into perspective.

For Nick Suzuki personally, it once again demonstrates his character and toughness.

The captain was apparently playing with a torn thigh muscle. This is exactly the type of injury that can affect a player’s speed, explosiveness, and ability to accelerate… and significantly so.

As for Juraj Slafkovsky, the young Slovak was apparently playing through two serious injuries. A shoulder. A leg. That is the kind of combination that can genuinely compromise the performance of a star player.

His limited offensive production during the crucial games against the Hurricanes now takes on a completely different meaning.

For Noah Dobson, it confirms what many suspected, but it is still remarkable to learn that he apparently never returned to 100 percent health, according to this information.

Dobson continued to play every game despite that extreme limitation.

Many questioned his offensive contribution during the playoffs.

Now we understand a little better.

The young star defenseman was playing with a damaged shoulder.

This is exactly the kind of information that makes his playoff performance even more impressive.

It is also why offseason rest now becomes absolutely essential for the entire team.
