Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs face off against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference finals, with a spot on the NBA Finals against the New York Knicks on the line.

The Spurs got out to a fast start, leading by as many as 14 in a first quarter that featured six Thunder turnovers and a vicious Wembanyama dunk on Chet Holmgren. But Oklahoma City came all the way back in the second quarter behind clutch play from Gilgeous-Alexander, with the two-time defending NBA MVP scoring 13 points in the period as the Thunder briefly retook the lead just before halftime.

The Spurs surged back to a double-digit lead behind a 16-2 run in the third quarter, however, thanks to some hot shooting from Julian Champagnie. But again, the Thunder clawed back behind SGA to only trail by three heading into the fourth.
