Metro Vancouver Transit Police are asking for the public’s help after an alleged sexual assault in East Vancouver.
A news release issued Friday evening says investigators are looking for dashcam footage from drivers on Stainsbury Avenue, between Victoria Drive and Walker Street, from 3:30 to 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26.
Officers are also looking to speak to anyone who may have been walking in the area during that time.
Transit police did not provide any details in the news release but said they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
