Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars has broken the record for most tickets sold during a single tour stop in Toronto’s history, according to Rogers Stadium.

Stadium officials shared the news on X, writing, “That’s a wrap on 5 unforgettable nights with @BrunoMars, who now holds the record for the most tickets sold for a single tour stop in Toronto!

“Thank you to every fan who danced, sang, and showed up in full Romantic Tour energy all week long.”
With the North York stadium’s maximum capacity at 50,000 people, Mars’ five sold-out shows from May 23 to Sunday would have drawn an estimated total of 250,000 fans.
If that figure is confirmed, Mars’ Toronto gig would surpass the approximately 240,000 fans that showed up to pop-star Taylor Swift’s six shows at Rogers Centre during her 2024 Eras Tour.

Fans quickly responded on social media to the news from Rogers Stadium with some thrilled to have attended the shows.
“It’s been an amazing tour!!!!!! Bruno is so insanely talented!!!!!! How lucky we are to be able to experience him in our lives!!!!!! Love you @BrunoMars,” wrote one person on X.

“And I’ll never forget it. Thank you @BrunoMars and @Rogers_Stadium,” wrote another.
“Now, bring him back for an encore show next year. Five shows ain’t enough,” added another fan.
Bad weather pushed Mars to postpone the first night of his tour stop in Toronto, which was moved to Sunday.
Toronto Sun’s Jane Stevenson, who attended Mars’ second show last Wednesday, said his 130-minute set had “everything a fan could want,” which saw the 40-year-old singer perform soul, funk, R&B and Latin songs from his latest album, The Romantic, along with older hits, which got the crowd singing along with him.
