Vancouver Bandits to call Kelowna home for Hoopfest

Lace up your shoes, Kelowna Hoopfest is on the rebound from the 2026 Memorial Cup.

Prospera Place packed up from the 11-day hockey tournament and is gearing up to host a Canadian Elite Basketball League game for the first time ever.

Hoopfest will see the Vancouver Bandits make Kelowna home for a regular season game against the Saskatoon Mamba on June 6.

In addition to the Bandits, 90 youth basketball teams from across the province will be in the city for a tournment June 5-7.

For the fans, people are invited to register for two workshops with the Bandits Dance Crew and the Village Dance Academy on June 5, attend a coaches seminar and hear directly from the Bandits’ coaching staff immediately after the game, test their skills in a one-on-one street ball tournament at City Park the evening of June 6, and check out the Hoopfest fan zone outside Prospera Place ahead of the 6 p.m. tip-off.
