EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — El Paso boxing fans got to meet one of the Borderland’s rising fighters on Tuesday.
Charlie Clark Nissan and INFINITI held a press conference with Victor Aranda ahead of his fight against Elija Martinez on July 18.
According to organizers, Aranda competes in the 154-pound super welterweight division and is 6-0 as a professional with five knockouts, while Martinez has a 7-1 professional record.
Furthermore, organizers said Aranda’s amateur background includes a 50-5 record, five El Paso Golden Gloves titles, a 2017 Texas state championship, two national championships and recognition as a 2021 Olympic alternate.
