The Fire led by as much as 26 on Saturday night in a 100-84 rout of the visiting Indiana Fever. Portland held Caitlin Clark to just six points in the win while Carle Leite (18 points, 12 assists) and Emily Engstler (16 points, 10 rebounds) put up the first double-doubles in franchise history. Megan Gustafson led the attack with 22 points as six players scored in double figures.
Williams averages 15.0 points per game for the Valkyries while Burton posts 14.8 points and 5.8 assists per game and Kaila Charles pulls down 5.5 rebounds a night. Leite notches averages of 15.9 points and 5.0 assists for Portland, Bridget Carleton gets 15.1 points per game, and Sarah Ashlee Barker puts up 10.2 points and 4.6 rebounds an outing.
