A collision at a busy intersection in northeast Calgary has left two pedestrians in critical condition.
Emergency crews were called to 32 Street and 20 Avenue NE around 3:45 p.m. for reports that two people were struck by a vehicle.
Both pedestrians are being taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say the driver remained at the scene. Investigators are now working to determine what led to the crash.
32 Street NE is shut down between Sunridge Way and 23 Avenue for the investigation. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
