The Red Deer Rebels have signed goaltender Nathan Salisbury to a Western Hockey League Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The 17-year-old from Edmonton is coming off a strong rookie season with the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.

In 34 appearances during the 2025-26 season, Salisbury posted a 17-14-1 record, along with a 3.21 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage. He was named to the AJHL North Division All-Rookie Team.
Prior to joining the Pontiacs, Salisbury played with the Edmonton Jr. Oilers Blue U18 AAA team during the 2024-25 season. He compiled a 14-4-5 record while recording a 2.45 goals-against average and a .922 save percentage.
