A man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in Mississauga on Thursday evening.
Emergency crews responded to the crash at Eglinton Avenue and Sorrento Drive just before 7 p.m., Peel Regional Police said.
The rider, a man in his 30s, was taken to a trauma centre in serious condition, police said.
The rider was in stable condition on Friday morning, Peel Regional Police Const. Tyler Bell-Morena told INsauga.com.
“It appears at this point that the rider was making an evasive maneuver to avoid a collision with a car that turned left,” Bell-Morena said.
No charges have been laid yet, but the crash is still under investigation, he added.
A portion of Eglinton Avenue was closed last night for the investigation.
