The Government of Alberta is eyeing a high speed rail line between Calgary and Edmonton with connections to both city’s international airports. It’s part of a multi-decade plan to introduce reliable passenger rail service to the province over the next 30 years, but how soon shovels could go in the ground depends on who is interested in building it.
