MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho Vandals Soccer announces its 2026 non-conference schedule, featuring regional rivalries, a trip to Hawai’i and two first time opponents, including UC Davis.  

The Vandals will play 12 matches before beginning Big Sky Conference competition, including four home contests at the P1FCU Kibbie and a preseason exhibition against Oregon. 

Idaho will open their 2026 fall season at home against Oregon on Saturday, August 8th before their first road match-up in Pullman on August 12th for their 17th regular season face-off with WSU. The matchup renews a familiar regional rivalry and marks the first regular season contest of the year for the Vandals. 

The home opener follows on August 15th when Idaho welcomes CSUN to Moscow only three days before heading to Hawai’i for their neutral-site matchup with first-time opponent, Western Michigan, and 2024 Big West regular season champions the Rainbow Wahine on August 22nd. 

The Vandals finish August at home as they host CSU Bakersfield on the 27th. Idaho will hit the road to start their September contest in South Dakota against University of South Dakota on September 3rd, and SDSU on September 6th, before coming home to take on Grand Canyon September 10th. 

Idaho heads back to California for their final stretch of road games, facing San Francisco September 17th, and another first-time opponent UC Davis on September 20th. Idaho ends their strong non-conference schedule with a home matchup against Gonzaga on September 25th.  

The schedule provides Idaho with opportunities to compete against opponents from the Pac-12, Big West, Mountain West, West Coast and Mid-American conferences, preparing them to take on the start of Big Sky play in October.
