Jasmine Marsh has taken on a building on London Road South, where she has launched her first venture called Rise Studio.

Ms Marsh, who has been working in the fitness industry for more than ten years, said she realised she wanted to take the leap and create something different.

She said: “Opening my own studio has been a long-held dream.

“It’s about creating a community as much as a fitness space, somewhere people can come to invest in themselves, improve their wellbeing and leave feeling better than when they arrived.

“For me, fitness isn’t about what happens during a workout.

“It’s about functional movement that helps people feel stronger carrying shopping, walking the dog, picking up children, improving posture at work and staying active as they get older.

“My classes are designed for all ages and abilities, with options available for different fitness levels and experience.

“Whether someone is completely new to pilates or has years of experience, they’ll feel supported throughout.”

Clients will be able to benefit from 1:2 reformer classes, being more cost-effective than traditional one-to-one sessions.

Alongside flexible drop-in classes, Rise Studio also offers a membership option designed to provide support beyond the studio walls.

Members have access to exclusive online classes, meaning they can continue their pilates practice wherever they are in the world.

Looking ahead, Ms Marsh also has plans to grow the studio into a wider wellbeing community.

She added: “I’d love to introduce other local teachers and practitioners, offering classes and workshops such as yoga, breathwork, and special wellness events.

“I’m particularly excited about the possibility of bringing people together through outdoor experiences, including movement and wellbeing events on the beautiful Suffolk coastline.

“Most importantly, I want the studio to feel welcoming to everyone.”
