Nawrocki will travel soon to attend a White House gala celebrating US milestones and Trump’s birthday. Observers note possible diplomatic ripple effects in the region.
Poland’s President Karol Navrotsky has received an invitation from U.S. President Donald Trump to attend the celebration of his birthday and will travel to the United States in the coming days.
The Polish agency PAP reports that the invitation came from the American leader. According to the agency, Navrotsky’s visit to the United States will be unofficial in nature.
It was noted that in the White House gardens there will be a gala evening of mixed martial arts – an event dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the United States, to Flag Day, and to Trump’s 80th birthday, with Trump himself being a supporter of this sport.
As is known, Navrotsky is also interested in martial arts: he supports boxing and trains in this sport himself on a regular basis.
There were concerns in Poland about Zelensky’s possible absence from the conference in Gdańsk – an expert expressed such a view during a public discussion.
Context and Resonance
According to Polish officials, the deployment of American nuclear weapons on Polish soil is not being discussed.
The situation remains under analysts’ scrutiny: further official statements and assessments of the impact of this event on regional positions are expected, but for now there are no concrete steps.
