Parts of southern Manitoba are in cleanup mode after a storm brought torrential downpours, tennis ball-sized hail and unconfirmed reports of tornadoes.
Environment and Climate Change Canada says the hardest-hit area was the town of Stonewall, just north of Winnipeg, which received about 255 millimetres of rain.
Parts of Winnipeg were also walloped, with the Forks downtown tourist site registering 124 mm of precipitation.

Brian Proctor, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, says several areas saw rain that had the potential to overwhelm all infrastructure.
Winnipeg says it received about 850 emergency calls overnight relating to downed power lines, possible structure fires and stranded vehicles.
Proctor says parts of the province could see some more showers and thunderstorms today, but not as intense.
