However, Hokit delivered one line that came from way out of left field when he was asked if his former opponent, Curtis Blaydes, is more skilled than Lewis.

“I think so, but this is the opportunity that presented itself,” Hokit told reporters. “And Derrick Lewis — I’m going to have him kidnapped by a group of mimes, and the things that they will do to him will be unspeakable. Think about that.”

“I’m a freaky type of dude, so I don’t mind mimes playing with my booty hole or something like that,” Lewis said.

When asked if that had happened before, Lewis started to answer before quickly thinking better of it.

“No, uhhh, my wife, she uh — nah, I ain’t going to say nothing,” Lewis said. “No, I haven’t had anything like that before. Never mind.”

And remember, this was just media day. These two still have a press conference to get through before fight night.
