Calgary’s mayor floats temporary pause on Green Line downtown to extend line further south

Calgary mayor Jeromy Farkas is floating a temporary pause on the downtown leg of the Green Line LRT to extend it further south instead. It’s the latest in a series of twists and turns over how the LRT should travel through the downtown core, after the provincial government said it would be open to changes with the exception of a tunnel.
