Young Liverpool forward Keyrol Figueroa has had quite the few days.

The 19-year-old son of ex-Wigan and Hull full-back Maynor Figueroa is now a fully fledged senior international having pledged his allegiance to Honduras, and he came on in a 2-0 defeat to Alexis Mac Allister’s Argentina in Texas last weekend.

He’s also been offered a new Liverpool contract which he’s set to sign in the coming weeks, with an eye on a potential loan move later in the summer – perhaps after a role on Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the USA.

Reports in Honduras claim MLS duo New York Red Bulls and Charlotte FC have been looking at Figueroa, as well as La Liga side Elche.
