Re: O-Train lines 2 and 4 to shut for maintenance, online, June 5
Article content
Instead of saying when the LRT lines are not working, I think it would be much easier to announce when the LRT is actually fully operating without any problems. That would be only a very few days of the year.
No wonder it is called Watson’s Folly.
Recall that it had been determined that then-mayor Jim Watson had committed an egregious violation of public trust by not sharing information regarding the trial running of the LRT.
And we wonder why it does not work.

BIG GG BILL, BUT FOR WHAT?
A $36 million per year budgetary cost for the Governor General position?
Just like the stacked Liberal, unelected, but appointed Senate, our all-talk, just blame the Americans for everything PM Mark Carney appointed Laurentian Elite Louise Arbour as the new GG.
What, if any, value will her almost $400,000 salary and her huge staff give working taxpayers?
God speed, Canada.

WERE CANADIANS LISTENING?
Hopefully many Canadians listened to Pierre Poilievre’s speech in Calgary and have a better understanding of why certain Albertans are talking separation.
Article content
In the past 11 years, the Liberals have taken advantage of Alberta and attempted to destroy our energy sector. As expected, certain political commentators with CBC attempted to tear the speech apart.
Separation is not the answer — a change in the federal government is.
