The humidex on Friday will hit 39 C, with a repeat of Thursday’s UV index of 9, or very high.

Taking the humidex out of the equation, Friday’s high will be 31 C. There’s a risk of thunderstorms in the late afternoon with wind gusts of up to 40 km/h, then more in the evening with gusts up to 60 km/h.
A break from the rain comes Saturday, with a sunny high of 28 C and a humidex of 30 C. Then back to the damp with periods of rain and a high of 28 C on Sunday.
