One of Calgary’s longest‑running youth sport traditions returns on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14, 2026, as the Youth Diversity Cup marks its 23rd year at Forest Lawn Athletic Park (4804 14 Avenue S.E.).
This free, two‑day tournament is organized by the Calgary Police Service (CPS) Youth Mentorship Team to give youth from diverse cultural backgrounds the chance to experience organized sport in a supportive, non‑competitive environment. Families can also connect with local community services throughout the weekend.
The CPS Youth Mentorship Team is honoured to continue the legacy of this tournament and to help create a weekend where every young person feels included, supported and able to play.
Teams will each receive equipment, T‑shirts, shin guards, snacks, and medals. Four teams will also earn recognition banners and a soccer ball for demonstrating respect, teamwork, leadership and fair play.
Games will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days, with a medal presentation and team photos scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
This tournament would not be possible without the support of the Calgary Police Youth Foundation. This event is one of several initiatives in 2026 between the Calgary Police Service and the Calgary Police Youth Foundation aimed at providing children and youth with opportunities to positively interact with CPS officers while learning about staying safe from victimization and crime.
