The Montreal Canadiens have still not released their end-of-season injury list, and Maxime Truman has put forward a possible explanation for this unusual delay.
The truth is, it may actually be coming directly from the players themselves… from inside the locker room!
An observation that is raising questions 10 days after the locker cleanout.
However, that list has still not been released.
Ten days later, fans still do not know which players finished the season (the playoffs) dealing with injuries.
Max Truman therefore tried to understand the silence.
And he has proposed a theory to explain the club’s unexpected lack of communication on the matter.
According to him, a recent precedent may have influenced the decision.
Several players reportedly did not appreciate the injury list that was released by the Flyers.
Canadiens players may be behind the delay in releasing the team’s injury list
He notes that the club appears to have listened to its players’ concerns on the subject.
After all, revealing injuries exposes personal medical details that some players would prefer to keep private.
The Canadiens therefore seem to be prioritizing discretion.
You can see Truman’s comments here:
“During the locker room cleanout, the Canadian let us know that we were going to find out the list of injuries for the Montreal players.
We still don’t know it 10 days later.
Why?
Several players didn’t like the list released by the Flyers. The club seems to have listened to them.”
It remains to be seen whether the Canadiens will eventually publish the list.
And if that list is never released, the reality is that players have every right to want that information to remain personal and confidential.
