On the strength of back-to-back wins over the Washington Mystics (78-76) and Chicago Sky (114-106), the Fever have been installed as 10.5-point road favorites against the last-place Sun. Clark delivered a game-winning dagger against the Mystics on Monday with a 31-foot 3-pointer with 2.5 seconds to play. She and Aliyah Boston then became the first teammates in WNBA history to both record 30-point double-doubles in an overtime win over the Sky on Thursday night. Clark went for 32 points and 10 assists, and Boston scored 34 points with 12 rebounds as they combined to hit 21-of-44 shots from the floor and 21-of-21 from the free throw line.
The Fever sit at 7-5 overall and are 1.5 games back of the New York Liberty at the top of the Eastern Conference. They sit six games ahead of the Sun, who are 2-12 overall, 0-5 against Eastern Conference teams, and 0-4 over their past four contests.
