WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police say youths are among the four people facing robbery charges after a car was smashed with rocks, and a shop’s glass front was shattered.
Police say they responded to a call early Saturday for a robbery at a convenience store in the city’s south end.
The lone store worker saw four females, who were between 14 and 21-years-old, approaching the business and locked the store’s doors.

Police say the suspects then started smashing a car parked outside the store with rocks before two of them shattered the store’s glass front and entered the business.
All suspects allegedly ran away on foot with stolen items, but police say they were arrested not far away.
Investigators say one suspect got injured from smashing the store’s glass and was treated in hospital.
