People can check out this year’s PNE Prize Home starting June 20 in the Surrey neighbourhood where it’s built.
Free guided tours happen Saturdays over nine weeks ending Aug. 15, a week before the annual fair starts in East Vancouver.
In North Surrey, the $2.3-million house is in the Abbey Heights development by Foxridge Homes, a Qualico Company, at 10100 Elderberry Cres., south of Surrey Bend Regional Park and north of Highway 1.
The seven-bedroom home, boasting 4,117 square feet on three levels including a two-bedroom legal suite in the basement, is advertised as “a bright and welcoming family haven, complete with an art room and games room, blending soft neutrals with warm woods and playful pops of colour to create a home that is both stylish and livable.”
Tour tickets can be booked on ticketleader.ca for groups of up to six people in half-hour time slots, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The house is not accessible and there are no onsite washrooms, the website notes.
Lottery tickets to win the home and other prizes are sold on pneprizehome.ca (two for $35, six for $80, 15 for $165, 30 for $285), call 604-678-4663 or toll-free, 1-877-946-4663.
Home furnishings are by Paramount Home & Design, appliances and electronics from Samsung, an EV charger supported by BC Hydro and Husqvarna yard maintenance package.
Other lottery prizes are five vehicles from Chevrolet and Cadillac, five $10,000 cash prizes, two $10,000 Metropolis at Metrotown shopping sprees, two seven-day cruises for two with Celebrity Cruises (plus $1,500 cash), a 2026 Suzuki Boulevard M109R motorcycle, a Beachcomber hot tub package and a Woody’s Travel Trailer. Four bonus draws will also take place throughout the summer, each featuring a seven-day cruise for two with Celebrity Cruises plus $1,500 cash.
