– Former Disney executive joins Bell Media to lead product vision, strategy, and design, on Aug.18 –

TORONTO (August 15, 2025) – Bell Media has appointed Jerrell Jimerson to the position of Senior Vice President and Head of Product & Experience. In the newly created role, Jerrell leads all product vision, strategy and design across the company’s extensive portfolio, effective Aug.18.

In this role, Jerrell is responsible for product across all Bell Media digital platforms, including direct-to-consumer entertainment, sports, and news products such as Crave, CTV News, TSN, TSN+, Noovo, RDS, and iHeartRadio. He brings more than three decades of experience across product, content, and consumer strategy, including key roles at the forefront of the streaming revolution.

Jerrell is Founder and Principal of MediaTech Insights, an advisory firm that partners with Fortune 500 companies, global media leaders, and high-growth startups. Previously, he served as Chief Product Officer for Disney’s direct-to-consumer business, where he oversaw the record-breaking launch of Disney+ and led product growth and engagement, design, and product marketing for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Star, and Star+.

Before Disney, Jerrell served as Chief Product Officer at Bamtech and as the SVP, Products & Design at iHeartMedia, where he helped transform Clear Channel into iHeartRadio. He has also held executive roles at companies including PayPal, Yahoo, and Netscape.

Beyond his executive career, Jerrell has remained active in the broader innovation and social impact ecosystem—serving on non-profit and pre-IPO boards, advising startups, and contributing to fundraising and community development efforts.
