There is a reason why math is a core subject. Unfortunately, I think some at city hall skipped a class or two.

So, while OC Transpo is drowning in debt, in their great green wisdom they decided to purchase 350 electric buses, and now tens of millions of dollars have to be spent on generators and upgrading electrical infrastructure.

If I were forever borrowing money to pay my bills, I wouldn’t go buy a brand new F150 Lightning loaded and think, “Look at me, I am saving the planet.”

There is a reason why cabbies don’t use Rolls-Royces … basic math.

Mark Carney won the election by making Donald Trump the real threat to Canada. Trying to replace the volume of trade Canada has with the U.S. is a flight into fantasyland by the prime minister.

Europhile Carney has made countless costly trips to Europe, where Canada did a measly nine or 10 per cent of its overall trade last year. Meanwhile, the trade deal with the U.S. is looking like it may be dead because of Carney‘s anti-U.S. proclamations abroad.

Canadians voting in Carney — not based on his past unremarkable track record, but his impressive CV and self-proclamation of being an expert trade negotiator — was a giant leap of faith. When will Canadians stop voting for the party that destroyed Canada’s economy with its mass immigration and climate change obsession?
