Ottawa paramedics say a woman was hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a retirement home in Orléans Tuesday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to the Chapel Hill Retirement Residence shortly after 3 p.m.

Ottawa paramedics say a woman was hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a retirement home in Orléans Tuesday afternoon.

Crews were called to the Chapel Hill Retirement Residence near Innes Road and Pagé Road around 3 p.m.

Paramedic spokesperson Nicolas Guertin said one woman was taken to hospital in serious and stable condition.

The driver was assessed for minor injuries.
