Ottawa Charge forward Rebecca Leslie has won the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL)’s “Hockey for All” award for the 2025-26 season.
The award is given to the player who made the greatest impact in their community and comes with a $10,000 Scotiabank donation to a charity of Leslie’s choice that supports youth or grassroots hockey.
“To be a role model in the city that I grew up in was really important to me,” Leslie said.
Leslie, who was protected by the team earlier in the league’s off-season expansion process, was also named a second team PWHL all-star. Her 14 goals tied her for second in the league.
Head coach Carla MacLeod and goalie Gwyneth Philips were also nominated for coaching and goaltender awards.
Former Charge captain Brianne Jenner, who has signed with the league’s Hamilton expansion team, was a finalist for the Forward of the Year award.
