A Winnipeg Transit driver is facing charges after allegedly driving a bus while impaired.
Winnipeg police were called to the Winnipeg Transit bus depot in the 400 block of Osborne Street around 7 p.m. on Monday for the report of an impaired driver.
When officers arrived, they learned a Winnipeg Transit employee had returned to the depot and was allegedly showing signs of being impaired by alcohol.

He was questioned by staff and subsequently arrested by police.
A 28-year-old man is facing charges of operation of a conveyance while impaired to any degree by BAC or drug or a combination of both, and failure or refusal to comply with demand.
He was released on an Appearance Notice.
